Is your kid kind of creepy? Detroit filmmaker Colin Duerr is seeking an actor to play the lead for an upcoming film about a child serial killer called The First Grade G.
The role is described as a "a child obsessed with the modern gangster rap image that endures terrifying hallucinations due to continued physical abuse which elicits a dangerous psychosis." Duerr is looking for a biracial child of mixed African and Caucasian descent between the ages of 6-10 years old. The role is open to either boys or girls, but the filmmakers are looking for an androgynous look.
Eligible creepy children (or their handlers) should send two headshots and a resume to [email protected] to receive a script. Auditions will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 10 (yes, Mother's Day) at Jazz Café, 350 Madison Ave., Detroit. See musichall.org and thefirstgradeg.com for more information.
