Hip-hop producer Dr. Dre was victorious in a second lawsuit involving his Up In Smoke tour and DVD. A $3 billion invasion of privacy lawsuit was filed against the hip hop star over a videotaped conversation featuring three former City of Detroit employees that was included on the DVD. The suit has been dismissed. According to the Web site AllHipHop.com, Judge John Murphy ruled that the employees had no reason to believe their conversations were private. The trio had asked Dre to refrain from showing the video --which contained nudity and a gunfight -- to audience members during a Detroit stop in July of 2000. They then filed the $3 billion lawsuit when the DVD hit stores that following December.
