All Dolled Up: Stephanie O’Connor lives for Halloween

By day, sassy Stephanie O'Connor works as a Detroit-based marketing maven, but in her spare time she loves working on her Halloween costumes, which she practically spends all year preparing. This year she attended Theatre Bizarre as Lady Baphomet, a costume she says was inspired by 12 years of Catholic schooling.

"I'm hardly a good Catholic girl, but I'm hardly a devil worshiper," she says. "I'm just intrigued by the darker side of life."

O'Connor isn't all pentagrams and black horns, though. She enjoys a good '90s TV reference, too. On Friday, Oct. 24, she'll be at the Crofoot's Creepy Cheapy as Kelly Kapowski as a Bayside Tiger cheerleader. "I love a good contrast," she says.

O'Connor is devilishly creative and adores dinosaurs. In fact, her favorite film is Jurassic Park. The dainty imp also loves gory horror movies and wholesome John Hughes flicks. She did say she likes a good contrast.

When she isn't mastering the world of marketing or dressing up like a Satanic idol, you'll find O'Connor sipping champagne in her bathrobe and playing with her two dogs, Harlan and Waffle.
