What’s popping — We hear that Dinner Club is hosting a pop-up dinner featuring a four-course meal from the executive chef at Cliff Bell’s, Matthew Baldridge. The dishes will include poached bay scallops, Faygo root beer-braised pork belly, and more. No hard liquor allowed, but wines are not only permitted but certain varieties are recommended on Dinner Club’s event page on Facebook. Seats were going fast at press time, so act fast at dinnerclubpopup.com. It all takes place at the Storefront Gallery, 477 W. Marshall St., Ferndale; tickets are $35 each.
