Woodbridge based Gold Tapes is offering some cassette goodies from aforementioned Protomartyr and Kommie Kilpatrick. Interestingly about the latter's special release is that it was recorded during a practice last month, unbeknownst to all band-members who otherwise presumed they were merely rehearsing.
Ah, the cavernous ambiance of basement-punk! (Still, fans of these hardcore revivalist-rompers can hear new-versions of their old stuff on this tape).
Protomartyr, meanwhile, are featuring songs recorded live in studio at WCBN in Ann Arbor.
