ICP’s Psychopathic Records is set for a double-great October. As well as the new album from Twiztid, Abominationz, there will be a new record from Cold 187um called The Only Solution.
A statement describes Cold 187um as, “the Psychopathic Assassin, a new artist with a first time release titled The Only Solution. Although a rookie on the horror-core roster of Psychopathic, Cold 187um is actually very well known in the hip hop community as Hutch from the successful, gangster rap group Above the Law. Horror-core and gangster rap are very different genres, but both boast some great artists and music. Accordingly, the label and Hutch wanted to combine their efforts to create something that the Juggalos would love, so they came up with the Cold 187um character and an interesting concept for his first album. To sum it up, Cold 187um will raps his original lyrics to music and beats from classic Psychopathic tracks. This new album tells the dangerous and exciting stories of Cold 187um, who is the In-House Assassin for Psychopathic Records. Going along with the storytelling aspect, each album comes with a comic book that follows the order of songs as listed on The Only Solution.
