The Conserva, an upscale Ferndale restaurant praised for its inventive dishes, announced on Facebook Wednesday that it will close its doors on Dec. 22, nearly two years after opening.
In the post, partners Matt Baldridge and Jarrod Kassis say that "due to extenuating circumstances in our families, it won't be reasonable for us to continue running Conserva to its full potential."

The Conserva will host a two-year anniversary party on Dec. 22. It will also be open Tuesdays through Fridays in the meantime.
