Anyway, here's a video of Iggy Pop eating a hamburger

For their latest video, L.A.-based band Death Valley Girls enlisted Iggy Pop to eat a hamburger. That's it. Just four minutes of the Godfather of Punk eating a burger, set to the band's "Disaster (Is What We’re After)."

OK, that's not all there is to it. Directed by Kansas Bowling, the video is a pretty spot-on recreation of Andy Warhol's scene from the Jørgen Leth's 1982 film 66 Scenes of America, except for the fact that the corporate branding has been toned down. Punk rock!

"Having Iggy dig our music was more than amazing for us," the band said in a statement to Rolling Stone. "When [director] Kansas told us she had a dream about recreating the 'Andy Warhol Eating a Hamburger' short film but with Iggy starring for our music video, we were cautiously excited about the possibility. Next thing we know we’re in Miami with Iggy himself, and a rock 'n' roll dream became reality!'"
