Ryan Gosling's directorial debut Lost River was apparently so bad that Warner Brothers felt it couldn't bear to release it in theaters nationwide. Attendees of last year's Cannes Festival literally booed at it. Now, following a limited-release in New York and Los Angeles, the film will head straight to Video On Demand. But Gosling filmed Lost River in Detroit, and the city lost its collective shit over that. So, while we await the release of Gosling's widely panned film, here's Lost River's first trailer to bide your time.
