In three weeks, the University of Michigan's Wolverines will take the field against the Florida Gators in Arlington, TX. A week later, they'll have their first home game against Cincinnati. And sometime during this season R&B singer Usher Raymond will serve as an honorary coach at the Big House.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh has a record of selecting celebrity honorary coaches — Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, and Hank Aaron all played the role last season — but Usher is the first to have no ties to football, or even sports. The pair spent some time together while attending Michelle Obama's last speech as First Lady at the White House and the world watched the budding bromance blossom.

There is no word yet on which game Usher will serve as honorary coach, but rumor has it the Obama's could also hold the title during the season.
