Tracee Ellis Ross won a Golden Globe on Sunday and we will never be worthy

We should have wrote about this yesterday, but we were still in awe of Queen Meryl Streep's fantastic speech about empathy, compassion, and supporting journalists and artists at the Golden Globe awards on Sunday night.

One winner from the ceremony has some deep Detroit connections, so we were so pleased to see this fantastic woman take to the stage for her wonderful acting. Tracee Ellis Ross, the daughter of Diana Ross, won her first Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television or Musical for her role in the hilarious TV show Black-ish.

Ross delivered a moving acceptance speech from the stage, dedicating her award to "women, women of color, and colorful people, whose stories, ideas, thoughts are not always considered worthy and valid and important."

She goes on to say, "I see you. We see you," and pretty much brought the house down with her empowered speech.
