Did you ever consider that maybe, just maybe, Santa Clause is a Santa fraud? Dan Finnerty, king of comedic balladry and lead singer of the Dan Band, seems to think so, as evidenced by the group’s unexpected holiday feminist anthem in which Finnerty suggests that Mrs. Clause is the real reason for the season and that she should leave her famous, coattail-riding hubby. While the Dan Band has been known for outrageous expletive-laden cover songs, (never forget their “Total Eclipse of the Heart” moment from the 2003 “Frat Pack” comedy, Old School), they’ve got a penchant for alternative holiday hits. Just listen to the NSFW classic “I Wanna Rock You Hard This Christmas."
