American Mars
American Mars has represented roots-influenced rock in Detroit for more than a decade, and their branches spread far. The Ruiners
Front man Rick Ruiner has been known to set his pants on fire, ride a motorcycle through the venue, or smash up a washing machine on stage. The Blueflowers
The Blueflowers' gloomy, retro sound wouldn't sound out of place in a David Lynch film — one could easily imagine them playing at Club Silencio in Mulholland Drive. 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31; Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort Americana Stage.
Blaire Alise & the Bombshells
Blaire Alise gives the sounds of the golden age of girl-groups a plucky 21st century update. This will be one of the last Bombshell shows around town before they hit the road to open for the Detroit Cobras, so now's a good time to see them off. 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31; Budweiser Rock Stage.
The Whiskey Charmers

The Orbitsuns
