Preservation Detroit’s most popular tour is back and you’d better get your tickets fast. Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at some of Detroit’s most beautiful, beloved, and historical theaters on this four-and-a-half-hour walking tour — and it includes lunch at the Detroit Opera House. You’ll tour the DOH, along with the Gem Theatre, Fox Theatre, Music Hall, Fillmore, and the Michigan Theatre, which is currently a parking garage. The tour will meet at the Opera House and guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes early.

The Preservation Detroit’s Annual Theater Tour starts at the Detroit Opera House located at 1526 Broadway St., Detroit. Tours start every half hour between 9 and 11:30 a.m., but some are already sold out. Tickets are $60 and can only be purchased at preservationdetroit.org.
