Spring has sprung. OK, so maybe the weather hasn’t gotten the memo, but Detroit’s historic Corktown neighborhood is right on track with its third annual Spring into Corktown.
The annual event welcomes folks to partake in a neighborhood cleanup complete with bagels from Detroit Institute of Bagels and coffee from the Farmer’s Hand, as well as walking and bicycle tours. Mama Coo’s Boutique will host a pop-up market featuring some of the area’s top retail shops, as well as several food trucks. The event also offers a kids' carnival and free yoga and fitness classes throughout the afternoon, including hip-hop dance and barre. For more information, visit the event page here.
Spring into Corktown begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18; Corktown, Detroit; corktowndetroit.biz. Event is free.
