Fancy watch and bicycle maker Shinola will open a new location today, this one in Ann Arbor. According to a release, the brand has close ties to the city thanks to their partnership with Edwards Brothers Mallory, a family-owned print business that produces the company's journals.

This location is Shinola's ninth brick-and-mortar store, other locations include their flagship store in Detroit, Minneapolis, London, Los Angeles, Chicago, and D.C.

The Ann Arbor location's dual-level space will feature many of the company's products as well as a satellite location of Birmingham-based Commonwealth Coffee Roasters, much like the Detroit store. However, this space will be unique, with a public "community lounge" open on the lower level. The lounge will be replete with cafe tables, seating, and even a ping pong table.

The new location is located at 301 S. Main St., Ann Arbor. Store hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
