Detroit fans of fast-fashion brand H&M are in luck, as the company could open a downtown location in the near future.

At least that's according to Crain's Detroit Business, which reports today that three sources say the Swedish-based company is scouting the city for its first Detroit store.

Aside from that, scant details are available. But if we had to guess, we'd bet the store would open in a Dan Gilbert-owned building — following the likes of other retail giants like Nike, Under Armour, Moosejaw, and John Varvatos.

H&M has 15 Michigan stores, mostly located in malls like Oakland Mall in Troy and Twelve Oaks in Novi.
