Yet another local business has announced plans to open a brick-and-mortar location inside Detroit's Fisher Building. This time it's Pot+Box, a flower arranging company owned by Lisa Waud — the same entrepreneur and artist behind Flower House and Detroit Flower Week.
According to a press release, Waud will open her shop on the north side of the Fisher's arcade during a Friday, Dec. 8 grand opening celebration.
“After testing concepts and various spaces across Detroit, taking root at the Fisher is Pot + Box’s obvious destiny,” Waud said in a press release. “Stunning aesthetics and the central location aside, The Platform’s thoughtful and sustainable development practices solidified my decision to join the ever-growing family in the glorious Fisher.”
The grand opening celebration starts at 6 p.m. on Friday night. The Fisher Building is located at 3011 W. Grand Blvd.
