On Thursday, Match 12, the Facebook page for Hamtramck theater Planet Ant posted an image of its ant logo with the word "West" underneath, along with the caption "Coming soon to L.A ..."

Was the 20-year-old theater uprooting from Hamtramck for Los Angeles? After all, the theater boasts plenty of famous alumni, including Key & Peele's Keegan-Michael Key.

We emailed Planet Ant's Scott Myers for the full story. "Planet Ant West is the name of a group of Planet Ant Home Team members that now live in L.A. and are doing a bi-weekly improv set at Second City L.A.," he explains. "There are no plans for Planet Ant to open an L.A. location, or to move."

L.A. Planet Ant fans, take note: according to Planet Ant's Facebook, the first, Planet Ant Home Team shows begin at Second City, Hollywood on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10 p.m.
