When Somerset's CityLoft opened up in Downtown Detroit, it gave normally suburban shoppers a reason to head to Woodward Avenue to tackle some of their Christmas shopping. The seasonal shopping place brought pop-ups by Lush, Pottery Barn, Lego, Lacoste, and other retailers to the city's center, making it easier to enjoy Campus Martius' Yuletide attractions and generally patronize the Downtown area.
Well, quirky outdoor outfitters Moosejaw is adding to the seasonal offerings available in Detroit. Though they already have a permanent location at 1275 Woodward Avenue, the retailer announced today that they'll open a seasonal storefront that will heavily feature (get your pumpkin spice lattes ready) The North Face and Patagonia brands.
The 4,000 square foot space located at 1441 Woodward Avenue opens on Friday and will remain open throughout the holiday season. It will feature hard to find styles from The North Face and Patagonia, according to a press release. A grand opening party will be held on Saturday, October 24 from 2 to 7 p.m.
The shop will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
