It’s OK if you have a secret closet where you stash your Renaissance period clothing — we won’t judge you. Here’s your chance to break out the corset and giant pirate hat and cavort with kinsman. The best part? You won’t have to drive all the way out to Holly to do it. This kick-off party held in Eastern Market will feature the role playing, dancing, and revelries you’ve come to love from the Michigan Renaissance Festival. This party is free and you’ll get a chance to buy a ticket to the Holly fairgrounds and get another for free.
