Kit and Ace, a luxury retailer that focuses on simple, casual basics like tees, tanks, dresses, and pants for men and women, will open its doors to the public on Thursday, June 18.
The retailer is operated by Shannon and JJ Wilson, a stepmother-and-stepson team who call Lululemon founder Chip Wilson husband and father.
According to the shop's P.R. agent, the brand is in the process opening stores across the U.S. The Midtown store will sell mostly tees. Women's tees start around $70 and men's tees start around $90.
The shop will open at 4240 Cass Avenue in Midtown. Its neighbors will be shops like Cass Corridog, Source Booksellers, Hugh, and Nora. Just around the corner on Canfield are other high-end retailers like Shinola and Willy's.
