Pass the dutchie to the left and brace yourselves — you're about to get really frickin' stoned. For 47 years, Ann Arbor has been high heaven for the Hash Bash — the only time and place you can really blaze, toke, and vape in public around here without fearing persecution. Thousands will gather, sending a plume of dank smoke into the air to celebrate the sweet leaf. But it's not only about just getting blazed — there will also be vendors, comedy performances, guest speakers, and live music from The Muggs, Dixon’s Violin, and Chief Greenbud.
The Monroe Street Fair/Hash Bash Event begins at noon on Saturday, April 7 at The Diag, north of South University Street, just east of State Street, and just south of North University, Ann Arbor; hashbash.com; Event is free and open to the public.
