Nestled on Fort Street in the quiet community of Wyandotte, it shares a building with an auto shop, but its wares couldn't be more different. Step inside and you'll see walls of wigs, racks of silky nighties, shelves of shoes, cases of sparkly jewelry, and tons of makeup. Customers will find stockings, breast forms, corsets, body-shapers, and petticoats, along with gaffs, specialized panties that help keep those special parts tucked away and everything looking smooth.
Though Janet's bills itself as an emporium for all things drag, they also cater to exotic dancers. It's only September, but they have a complete stock of Halloween costumes (you know, the skimpy ones: the sexy police officer, the sexy maid, the sexy sailor, the sexy schoolgirl, etc.) and a few accessories to go along with them. Makeup services are available here, too, including private transformations and photo sessions.
With a full stock of wigs, many of which are available at reasonable prices — and breast forms that come just as cheap — Janet's Closet is also a place that many female cancer sufferers find affordable ways to stylishly traverse their illness.
