If ride-share scooting is your thing, Detroit's got plenty of options now.
The Motor City now offers scooters from three different e-scooter companies. Today, Ford Motor Co. announced it acquired San Francisco-based Spin, immediately deploying 400 scooters throughout the city. The scooters join those from Bird and Lime, which deployed their scooters in the city over the summer.
The city recently issued new guidelines that allow the scooter companies to deploy up to 400 scooters each, but least 100 of them must be available in the neighborhoods outside of the downtown core.
