Lynn Crawford earned a MSW from New York University and has worked in various psychiatric, community, hospital, museum and school settings. She is a fiction writer and art critic, a 2010 Kresge Literary Arts Fellow, a founding board member of Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) and serves on the advisory board of Cue Foundation (New York). Her recent publications include Fortification Resort, a series of art-related sestinas and two novels, Simply Separate People and Simple Separate People, Two. Her new novel, Shankus & Kitto, is forthcoming fall, 2015 (Hyperallergic, Black Square Editions). She is curator of Evening of Art & Science (May 2014 and 2015), an exhibition that pairs visual artists with medical scholars (specializing in stem cell research) from University of Michigan’s Taubman Institute. Her work appears in various anthologies (Oulipo Compendium, Fetish, Brooklyn Rail, Fence) and journals (Hyperallergic, Tema Celeste, McSweeney’s, Lilies and Cannonballs, Parkett, Bookforum, Metro Times). She lives with her family north of Detroit.
Matt Polzin is a writer based in LA. He is the author of the poetry chapbook "Solicitations" and is currently working on a short story collection.
