First, the authors Christopher Robinson and Gavin Kovite will conduct a reading and discuss their "zany" new novel, Deliver Us. Described as a "satirical look at near-future Detroit," Deliver Us explores racial inequality, gentrification, social media activism, and Dan Gilbert's projected long-term reign over the city through the eyes of character Luther Prince, a retiree who shoots down an Amazon delivery drone.

Three years after Knox was exonerated for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher while studying abroad in Italy in 2007 (for which she served four years in an Italian prison and spurred a toxic media circus), Knox launched a series tackling the demonization of women in the media.
The Scarlet Letter Reports, a Facebook Watch series produced by Broadly, finds Knox sharing a couch with notable women whose names and reputations have been marred by revenge porn (as evidenced by her conversation with actress Mischa Barton) or have had their accounts of abuse discredited because of their profession (like porn star Brett Rossi who was famously involved with Charlie Sheen.)
After a screening of her series, Knox will host a Q and A about the importance of empathy when rehumanizing those who have been unfairly villainized.
