The 17th edition of the Dirty Show is set to fill the 36,000 square foot Russell Industrial Center come February 12. The internationally recognized erotic art show is something of a twisted Valentine's Day celebration, stacked with perverse and subversive pieces that would flip your grandma's wig.

Last month organizers announced they were adding a new facet to the show, an erotic film fest they titled The Cinerotic Film Festival and they called for local filmmakers to submit their works for possible inclusion in the show.

Today the Dirty Show camp made another announcement about this year's event. Sculptor and painter Colin Christian will be the show's special guest this year, bringing with him the life-sized fiberglass sculptures that have been described as "sci-fi cartoon erotica" meets "fetish sex toy."

Christian is no stranger to the Dirty Show. He's been exhibiting on and off since the mid-2000s and was part of last year's show. Early fans of his will remember the "Snackcake Fruit Salad" from his inaugural inclusion in the Dirty Show.

Christian's art isn't relegated to erotic art shows. Fans of his work will have spotted it in Miley Cyrus' recent "Dead Pets" tour. The artist crafted 3-D "appendages" that Cyrus wears while performing.
