Detroit is getting noticed as a destination for travelers.

For many of us who love to travel, it's easy to fall victim to the paralysis of analysis of choosing a travel destination. That's why Fodor's has released its 2019 Go List — a list of 52 destinations that "helps focus our wanderlust."

In its 2019 guide, Fodor's lists Detroit 12th, behind destinations like Mexico City, Lagos, and Berlin. Referring to Detroit as "America's favorite comeback city," Fodor's gives praise to the city's recent developments in urban planning, as well as the projects that are still on their way, including the Hudson site skyscraper and the new Ford campus at Michigan Central Station. Fodor's also shines a light on Detroit's boutique hospitality scene like Detroit's Foundation Hotel and The Siren Hotel in the Wurlitzer Building.

See the full list to see what other destinations inspire the folks over at Fodor's to get going.
