Hey, Nicole Curtis, we have an interesting rehab project for you. A two-story island lighthouse residence on the Manitou Passage in Leland, Michigan is being auctioned off to the highest bidder and although the opening bid was set at $25,000 the only offer currently on the table is for 10 grand.

The property needs a bit lot of TLC, starting with a good power washing and ending with the replacement of just about everything inside the residence.

Does the place look creepy? Yes, it looks creepy as hell, but we're sure some advantageous home remodelers *eh hem, Nicole, eh hem* could make the North Manitou Shoal Light the most badass place to live in Michigan.

If you're interesting in purchasing the lighthouse, there will be a site visit on Tuesday, August 30 at 8 a.m., but you can only come if you're a registered bidder who's already paid the $10,000 deposit. Visitors are required to bring throwaway shoes (that's not a good sign), disposable gloves, flashlights, water, and a camera. Visitors will also be required to sign a liability waiver (another bad sign).
