The business publication released a list today of the richest person in every one of our fine states. As a surprise to no one (maybe besides Rich DeVos) the Daddy Warbucks of Detroit (yes, I am implying that Detroit is a orange-haired orphan named Annie) Dan Gilbert was named the richest person in all of Michigan.

Forbes notes that Gilbert is worth $5.9 billion, he's self made, and his claim to fame in Michigan is Quicken Loans/owning almost all of downtown Detroit.
