Co-founder, powerhouse, and front woman of electro-clash darlings Crystal Castles, Alice Glass is taking the stage alone. Since departing from the band in 2014, Glass released her first self-titled solo record earlier this year. The collection explores a discordant and jarring side of Glass’ danceable pop nuances. It’s a little Goth, a little club, and a whole lot of séance-worthy seduction, and Glass nails it all with her own untamed brand of femme fatal flirtation.

Alice Glass performs at Assemble Sound on Friday, Oct. 6. Doors open at 8 p.m.; 2300 17th St., Detroit; assemblesound.com; Tickets are $20.
