Romica Singh is small, but mighty. The Lawrence Tech grad has a bachelor's and a master's degree and is an architectural designer at Detroit's Hamilton Anderson. She's been there just 10 months but says she loves her gig. You would too if you worked on projects like Maryland's new MGM Casino and the Hudson site with SHoP architects. Though she's very career-driven, Singh does take some time off to travel the world. This year, she visited Bolivia and already has a trip to Norway planned for next year.
Singh clearly has an eye for design, which is one way to explain her expert fashion sense. Her looks are clean and simple, and there's a clear attention to detail in the outfits she puts together. You probably won't find her piled high with accessories, but she'll always be wearing one thing that pops, much like the patterned slacks she donned the day we spotted her. Of course, we weren't the only ones to recognize her for her sweet style. Singh was recently voted one of the best-dressed at DIFFA by the Detroit Garment Group Guild.
