An RPG worth hacking, slashing and casting your way through

Dragon Age 2
Several surprises popped out and changed my entire perspective on this RPG bad boy, and the party-combat system is one that completely got me. No more of that flying-solo nonsense we see in modern-day single-player RPG's, now we can switch between members of our party all through the game and utilize different talents and tactics! (The option to select skills as I level up and slay enemies is sure to get me hooked too.)
The versatility with each class you control is neat, offering several professions you can choose for each character. You can also grant attributes to each character, depending on what their class demands. The classes are fairly typical (warrior, mage, etc.) but each has its own specialties, and some classes may be trickier to construct than others.
In short, RPGs are a popular mainstream genre of game these days, and DA:2 provides much for PRG fanboys. Turns out, if fact, that this game is a quintessential RPG for the hack-and-slash connoisseur.
