Half-vaudeville half-Detroit dubsteppers, Cirque De Womp brings the half-time bass-drop phenomenon to the Majestic this weekend with a blacklight-rich masquerade. It's the 7th incarnation of their Dubstep Circus. We talked with de Womp's Angela Palaian for five wompin' Detroit venues. —Pietro Truba

5. The Majestic Theater: We love the high ceilings ... we're going to make the atmosphere nice and fun in there this weekend.

4. The Trumbullplex: That place is awesome. They are conscious people who are making creative things happen.

3. Bert's Warehouse Theater: A warehouse is a warehouse in Detroit. But it's set up for a performance which is what we want to do at our shows, so it works out great. Plus, it's got a little of Detroit grime to it.

2. Theater Bizarre: What to say about that? It's the most authentic artistic phenomenon that I've ever encountered. It has so much soul. They're geniuses, it is an artistic heaven. It's a whole 'nother story.

1. The Leland Ballroom: Where we got started. Our sound was so crazy that the plaster from the ceiling ended up falling on our heads during our parties ... but it's such a beautiful room.
