Motor City Wine
We don't know if you'll get into this extremely intimate wine tasting boutique, but it's worth trying to see young Detroiter Kyle Hall and Irish counterpart Space Dimension Controller. A classic from day one, this marathon brought to you by Detroit's Interdimensional Transmissions and NYC's the Bunker rages once again with Sal Principato, Carlos Souffront, Scott Zacharias, Derek Plaslaiko, Cheap & Deep, BMG, Patrick Russell and Spinoza at the reconditioned At Bohemian Home, 3009 Tillman, Detroit. Starts at 9 p.m. and pushes too hard until 9 a.m.
Skyline 2011
Stylish house music party stars Chicagoans Paul Johnson and Gene Farris, Adam X (New Yorker in Berlin), Woody McBride, Terry Mullan, DJ Hyperactive and another dozen or so heads.
