I ask Westwood, who's a beautiful woman in that classic American way — she resembles Amy Heard — if Facebook, for all its freedom and access, is a problem. "When I get the creepy people, I get rid of them. I like my realm of security where only certain people know where I live or where I'm going. I get people contacting me who have gone through something horrible and similar to me, and I can't not respond. But then people get angry if you don't respond to them. But why am I apologizing to them anyway? I don't know them."
She takes a breath. "People are cool though."
