Horoscopes (June 4 — 10)
Your weekly readings.

ARIES (March 21-April 20): You could never be defined as “vulnerable,” but this is one of those times when the meaning of that word isn’t lost on you. Outer forces and inner pressure have you re-thinking more than one thing. The need to be 100 percent clear about your motives, and 100 percent willing to change your tune in every situation is imperative. This is no time to be rigid and no time to get stuck in belief patterns that inhibit your ability to see the writing on the wall. If you can let yourself be open and keep listening to your higher self, life will show you where to go and what to do along the way.
TAURUS (April 21-May 20): It’s never too late to pull yourself together. You’ve been so far off on the tip of your arrow, the better part of what you really came here to do has gotten lost to money and things. Your preoccupation with outer symbols of whatever it is that you’re looking for has left you lacking in the part of your soul that knows what’s real and true. The humility piece could use a transfusion; your ego could come down a peg or two. For the time being, you get to be the one who has it all, but “nothing gold can stay.” Be aware of yourself and conscious of what’s been lost along the way.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20): To have foreseen this would have made it easier. What to do next isn’t ready to happen. Hold your horses and call up more patience. This experience has raised enough of life’s more important questions for you to see that it’s pointless to do anything that doesn’t serve the greater good. If you thought it was time to forge ahead according to plan, the things that have intervened in the meantime are very clear signs that it may be best to put everything off. The fact that you’re being given a great opportunity to redirect your energy is a blessing; don’t second-guess it.
CANCER (June 21-July 20): There’s a fine line between the truth and what people are ready to hear. I don’t know about this one. As you know, eventually everything comes out in the wash — and sometimes it’s best to wait till you get a big enough load before you attempt to clean things up. Not everyone has the capacity to see the light until it’s all right there in front of them. It also helps to remember that discretion is the better part of valor. Before you do anything that isn’t in your best interests, have the wisdom to give yourself plenty of time to wrap your mind around what happened here.
LEO (July 21-Aug. 20): If you weren’t such a wreck, you would see that others don’t know what they want out of this. They’re just as unsure about you as you are about them. Many of you think it’s time to call it quits when, in fact, this is one of those experiences that will only bring you closer. What happens next will be easier all the way around if you can be big enough to let others find out for themselves how much they need you to stand by them. If you can rise above your fears and bend enough to let them grow, they’ll begin to see how foolish they would be to let you go.
VIRGO (Aug. 21-Sept. 20): Whatever you’re going through is a rerun of things that didn’t get settled the last time you passed this part of your neverending story. By the time you get in touch with how much it costs you to keep reading this chapter, who knows if you’ll have the strength to free yourself from whatever it’s about. It’s always better to deal with things as opposed to avoiding them. You’ve got some hard choices to make, but you’ve seen enough of what being too good, or too loving, or too giving gets you. Before this stretch is over, you’ll come face to face with your favorite mistake.
LIBRA (Sept. 21-Oct. 20): Don’t try to figure this out. Too much is in a state of flux for you to know for sure what’s going on. The impulse to respond from a place of righteousness (or fear) is only there because nothing in you knows how to handle this. Others are testing your limits; in some instances it’s you who’s doing the testing. There’s no textbook solution. No matter how it looks from your angle and no matter what shape your circumstances are in, it’s time to stretch your mind far enough to embrace things that challenge all of your ideas about how life and love are supposed to turn out.
SCORPIO (Oct. 21-Nov. 20): The ones who have needed you most are taking good care of themselves for the time being. You would be wise to follow suit because in a few months all of your energy will be taken up with more demands to prove yourself on every front. You face decisions that will see you questioning the benefits of expansion versus contraction. They’ll be easier to make if you approach them from the standpoint of making the most of what you have or capitalizing on what’s already in place. It’s time to renovate and redefine things. If you can do that, you will flourish.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 21-Dec. 20): You don’t have to apologize for telling the truth; since when did it become a crime? Others are too blind to the way things are to be able to handle it. It doesn’t matter how or in what area of your life the need for honesty has become so important; at this point it’s a matter of keeping the karmic slate as free of complications as you possibly can. Part of balancing the past is bound to involve serious decisions about relationships. Don’t be too quick to jump in or out of anything, and don’t let yourself get carried away by plans that have little to do with what matters to you.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20): To be honest, you need to stop overanalyzing this situation. I know you mean well, but some things can’t be tacked down by the mind. Aside from that, you’ve gotta figure you’ve never done this before, so what do you know? Instead of going off half-cocked with the attitude that this won’t work unless it looks the way you think it’s supposed to, maybe you ought to consider the thought that you have nothing to go by. The best way to become adept at whatever you’re trying to know more about than anyone else is to stop needing to be right and listen for a change.
