This Corktown house from 1848 is on the market for some TLC

Originally, the house was located near the Michigan Central Railway Tunnel, according to Curbed Detroit, before it was moved to its current downtown Corktown location. Most homes from the original location were demolished to make way for the tunnel. This house was moved to Corktown in 1906 and became a registered historic property. This means that the house cannot be torn down, but instead should be restored in a way that keeps the historical integrity of the property in tact. The current owner is a historian and preservationist who is now ready to pass the torch onto the next homeowner.
