A home designed by architect Louis G. Redstone is for sale in Detroit's historic Palmer Woods neighborhood.

The mid-century modern home at 1641 Strathcona was built in 1953, with much of the home's original character still in tact.

The four bedroom, six bathroom (including two half-baths) home features original ceramic tile, exposed ceiling beams, and  the origina limed oak woodwork throughout the house.

There is a three-season room attached to the home, that leads to the backyard with an in-ground pool.

The home is listed by Amy Surdu of O'Connor Real Estate.
