Though the shop closed to the public in 1991, Alinosi's has since maintained an active wholesale business, offering their confections to local grocers and restaurants. The owner, who just so happens to be the grandson of one of Alinosi's founders, is retiring. His hope is that someone wants to keep the ice cream and candy flowing and will reopen the space to the public. The owner is also willing to be hands-on in transitioning the business into new hands and Alinosi's main employee and candy maker are willing to be apart of the shop's new chapter.
