Every Sunday, dozens of ball players who are immigrants from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and elsewhere head to diamonds in Southwest Detroit for round robin games and a few beers. But the day is about much more than "beer league" baseball — it's a celebration of Detroit's growing Caribbean community.
