On Friday, District 142, a new music venue in Wyandotte, officially opened its doors with a private party featuring surprise performances by Michigan rock bands Uncle Kracker, Pop Evil, and Sponge, in addition to classic rock cover band the Stone Blossoms. Meltdown and Jade from WRIF and Doug “The Doc of Rock” Podell from WLLZ were also on hand. District 142 opens to the public Saturday with a performance by The Four Horsemen, “the Album-Quality Metallica Tribute.”
