Being broke around Halloween can really suck — like, blood-sucking vampire suck. Well, thanks to the Crofoot’s long-standing Halloween tradition, being broke is a dang blessing. Creepy Cheapy returned for its 12th year of championing the financially strapped creative creeps with costumed cover bands, plenty of candy, and booze. New this year, the event took place over two nights with 14 cover bands per night, including the Fruits as Madonna, Young Pioneer as Taylor Swift, Trout as Slipknot, and 100% That Bitch as Lizzo.
