Who needs a drive-thru window when you can drive-in. Summertime for the hungry in the world’s car capital can mean one thing — a trip to the drive-in diner. Footlongs and root beer floats are among some of the classic American staples offered in these nostalgia-heavy establishments.  While many of the restaurants have gone the way of the Chevy Nova, some still thrive.
