The drinks are stiff, the service comes more with a smirk than a smile, and you never know what sort of eccentric is sitting next to you. It's one of the best places in the region to strike up a conversation with a stranger. Yes, strangers. Your parents were wrong about a lot of things. Like when they told you life gets better. Sorry.
