Florida is in the forefront of efforts to keep some voters away from the polls. There's good reason for all of us to be concerned. We saw in 2000 how the Sunshine State’s improper purges helped put George W. Bush in the White House. Here’s a look at what's going on this time around.
With three bills that critics describes as voter-suppression efforts waiting for Gov. Rick Snyder's signature, Michigan is among a number of states around the country trying to ensure a Republican victory in November by keeping left-leaning voters away from the ballot box.
