We're big fans of Green Dot Stables, which is why we were stoked to hear that proprietor Jacques Driscoll has plans to open up a second location.

The only catch? It's in Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur, to be specific.

From the Green Dot owners themselves:

“What could be a more wild place to go?” Driscoll recently asked WXYZ.

Via WXYZ:

[Driscoll] said he thought it was a scam when a couple of Malaysian restaurateurs contacted him last year with the idea of bringing Green Dot Stables to Kuala Lumpur. After corresponding with them, Driscoll said it became clear they weren’t just pulling his leg.

The restaurateurs are financing the Malaysian Green Dot Stables and are using the original eatery’s look, concept and menu. Driscoll said they will be receiving royalties from the Malaysian establishment.

Executive Chef Les Molnar said he will be taking some of the menu’s core items overseas, and will likely add several items unique to the new location.

We suspect some of those new items will end up on the mystery meat board.
